Abstract | This study aims to propose a tankless hybrid heat pump system. To verify the applicability of the proposed system in residential buildings, simulations were conducted to compare its primary energy consumption with that of a conventional boiler system. Each system was used as the heat source for space heating and domestic hot water during the heating season. The results show that the proposed system achieved approximately 5% primary energy savings compared to the conventional system. These findings demonstrate that a tankless hybrid heat pump system can be an effective alternative in residential buildings, supporting carbon neutrality efforts by enhancing energy efficiency. |
